GT Vs MI Dream11 Team Prediction, Match Preview, Fantasy Cricket Hints: Captain, Probable Playing 11s, Team News; Injury Updates For Today’s GT Vs MI IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 in Ahmedabad, 730PM IST, May 26

Defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will be facing off against five-time former winners Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2023 Qualifier 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. Both teams are bidding to join Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2023 final on Sunday.

This is the third time that GT and MI are going up against each other with Rohit Sharma’s side winning two of those matches. MI posted their second win over GT recently, when they thrashed the table-toppers by 27 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

GT had defeated MI by 55 runs when the two sides met earlier in the season in Ahmedabad. In the last match between the two sides, Suryakumar Yadav scored his maiden T20 century. For GT, opener Shubman Gill is in sensational form with the bat, having scored back-to-back centuries earlier in the season and is just 9 runs short of possibly becoming the youngest winner of the IPL Orange Cap.

In the bowling department, while GT pacer Mohammad Shami is leading the Purple Cap table with 26 wickets, MI’s Akash Madhwal produced the best-ever bowling figures in a Playoffs match – claiming 5/5 against Lucknow Super Giants in Eliminator. It will be interesting to see if MI will bring back Arjun Tendulkar to play in his first-ever IPL Playoffs match.

MS Dhoni’s side are currently in third place with 6 points from 5 match and can join Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants as the third team with 8 points in IPL 2023 on Friday night.

Dhoni’s team also have a 70 per cent win-record in Chepauk, the best among any of the teams in IPL at a single ground. However, they were stunned by Rajasthan Royals in their last match here and SRH will draw inspiration from this fact.

CSK have some injury issue to deal with as it is still uncertain whether Ben Stokes will be available for the match. All-rounder Mitchell Santner has recovered from illness and should be available for match against SRH although Sisanda Magala is still ruled out.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are facing off against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match no. 15 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday. LSG are currently in 3rd position on the points table and a win over RCB will take them to the No. 1 position with 6 points from 4 matches.

However, RCB have never lost an IPL match to LSG – who made their debut in the T20 league in 2022. Both sides were impressive last season, reaching the Playoffs stage but failed to progress to the final.

Faf du Plessis-led RCB have been dealing with some injury issues, especially in the bowling department with Josh Hazlewood yet to join the squad and Reece Topley ruled out with injury. However, they have got back up in Wayne Parnell now while leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is expected to join the team in Bengaluru on Monday as well.

But RCB will back on the form of Virat Kohli and Du Plessis at the top to get them back to winning ways after losing their way in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). For LSG skipper KL Rahul, it is homecoming of sorts as he hails from the city Bengaluru. But the crowd at the Chinnaswamy will be against Rahul and LSG team on Monday night.

GT Vs KKR Dream11 Team Prediction, Match Preview, Fantasy Cricket Hints: Captain, Probable Playing 11s, Team News; Injury Updates For Today’s GT vs KKR IPL 2023 Match No 13 in Ahmedabad, 330PM IST, April 9

Gujarat Titans (GT) return home after playing and winning their first away game, a couple of days back, against Delhi Capitals. This time they welcome Kolkata Knight Riders at Narendra Modi stadium in the day game of Sunday double header. The Hardik Pandya-led side has won both their matches so far in IPL 2023. They kickstarted the tournament with a bang as they beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to open their account. GT then beat Delhi Capitals at Feroz Shah Kotla cricket ground to continue their winning run. The form of Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Rashid Khan has kept them going so far. Against KKR, GT will hope their captain Hardik also contributes with the bat.

One of the big blows for GT is the injury to their overseas pick Kane Williamson, who has already flown home after injuring himself while fielding during CSK match. He was going to control the innings for GT in this season. But in his absence, Hardik will have to play that role now. He was a perfect power anchor last year and GT expects him to deliver the goods in IPL 2023 too.

On the other hand, KKR bounced back in style in their last game as they thrashed visiting Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Eden Gardens. They have been hit by injuries too with Shreyas Iyer already out of the first half of the season at least. Jason Roy has joined the squad in place of Shakib Al Hasan. It will be interesting to see whether Roy makes it to the playing 11 vs GT straightaway or not.

Rajasthan Royals will host Punjab Kings in match No. 8 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday. IPL 2022 finalists Royals are coming into this ‘home’ clash on the back of a massive 72-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening match last week and a win on Wednesday night will take them back to the top of the IPL 2023 Points Table.

Shikhar Dhawan’s PBKS also started off their IPL 2023 campaign with a win in rain-hit tie against Kolkata Knight Riders. They will look to keep their winning run going as they travel eastwards for this clash.

The Royals also hold the edge in the head-to-head ties between both the sides, having won 14 out of the 24 matches between the two sides.

MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings will take on Lucknow Super Giants in their first home game of the IPL 2023 season at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday (April 3). Four-time IPL champions CSK have begun the season with a loss against defending champions Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023 opener.

KL Rahul’s LSG, on the other hand, are high on confidence after thrashing Delhi Capitals by 50 runs in their first match. Both teams will be missing their South African players – with LSG’s Quinton de Kock and CSK’s Sasanda Magala yet to join their sides after the South Africa vs Netherlands ODI series.

Dhoni’s team will also miss the services of a couple of Sri Lankan players for the second game in a row. However, they will prefer the conditions in Chepauk which are suited to their spin-heavy bowling attack which features the likes of Mitchell Santner, Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali.

LSG enjoyed the conditions in Lucknow, which suited their pacers led by England’s Mark Wood who picked up the season’s first five-wicket haul against the Capitals.

IND vs AUS Dream11 Team Prediction, Match Preview, Fantasy Cricket Hints: Captain, Probable Playing 11s, Team News; Injury Updates For Today’s IND vs AUS 3rd ODI in Chennai, 130PM IST, March 22

The prima donnas of Indian batting will have to put their best foot forward while tackling the lethal in-dippers from Mitchell Starc when they face Australia in the series-deciding third ODI in Chennai on Wednesday (March 22). If Starc is giving sleepless nights to the batters, the other ‘Mitchell’ – Mitchell Marsh – has sent the Indian bowlers on a leather hunt by hitting nearly a dozen sixes (11) across two games. Tackling ‘Mitchell The Menace’ will be topmost on the Indian team’s agenda.

The series is locked at 1-1 and the starry quartet of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav will have to bat out of their skins to stop the left-arm pacer, who is gearing up to once again bring the ball back viciously into the right-handers while taking a few away. A sea change on the technical aspect, as well mental make-up, will be the need of the hour, and Starc has exposed their frailties pretty badly.

The white ball games in India are mostly played on flat decks, where one can get away by hitting through the line, where one doesn’t need too much of feet movement. A batter can plonk the front-foot and hit deliveries across the line with a fair degree of success. But Starc, blessed with better skill sets, changed the questionnaire with deliveries that would either straighten in the off-middle line or cut back sharply towards leg-middle after a fair amount of deviation in the air.

The Indians have known what Starc has done for the longest time but they failed to factor in that conditions in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam would assist his bowling a bit more. In Mumbai, there was help off the surface but in the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, the ball did more in the air than off the surface.
